Young Entrepreneur’s Academy Class of 2010 Begins

The Sacramento Black chamber of Commerce's 2nd Young Entrepreneur's Academy class held its orientation on November 21st at Sacramento City College.

The class consists of 19 high school and college students who will attend a seven month course focusing on the following:

  • Credit Management
  • Investing strategies
  • Savings/Retirement Planning
  • Home Ownership
  • Career Exploration and Preparation
  • Internships/Projects

The entrance to the program was rigorous consisting of essay writing, group and individual interviews. The class will culminate in June with a luncheon scheduled to be held at the Lions Gate Hotel in McClellan Park.
